Description of organization
The Municipality of Piran-Pirano is a local public authority responsible for all aspects of civic life. It independently implements development policies within its territory through its own professional departments, covering urban and spatial planning, investment implementation, as well as economic and tourism development and social activities.
Our contribution to the RISTANC project
The Municipality of Piran-Pirano as a local implementation partner, providing a real-life territorial context for developing and testing innovative approaches to climate resilience and sustainable coastal management. Our role includes stakeholder engagement, support to pilot activities, and contributing public-sector expertise to ensure that project outcomes are aligned with local development strategies and community needs.
