Why they matter
Citizens influence the sea through everyday behaviours, advocacy and local action. When informed and engaged, they act as stewards of marine ecosystems and bridge-builders between sectors.

RISTANC communicates findings in accessible ways and integrates art–science activities to foster deeper relational connections with seas and waters. Through public events, visual materials and participatory formats, the project supports awareness, legitimacy and shared commitment to sustainable futures.
